Parent-teacher conferences are an opportunity to engage in conversation about your child’s learning. Parents/guardians and teachers are able to connect face-to-face and communicate openly about student learning, especially with respect to areas of strength and areas of growth. They help build and sustain respectful relationships that allow both parties to share information and develop strategies to support student success.

Parent-Teacher-Student Conferences

Conferences are essential to the reporting process. An initial Meet the Teacher Night will take place in September. The main focus of this conference is information gathering; providing parents with the opportunity to share information about their child, as well as an opportunity for the teacher and parent to meet.

Parent-Teacher-Student Conferences are generally 15 minutes in length and allow the parents time to privately review student achievement with the teacher. Children are encouraged to attend these conferences.
