School Planning Engagement Part 1 - Budget & Fees
We would like to remind all families of part 1 of the School Planning Engagement meeting that will be held in the Learning Commons of the school, tomorrow evening (February 4th) at 6:30pm. We will be sharing information about:
- how the school budget provides funding to implement our school development plan.
- school fees and why they are necessary.
This presentation will be in-person only.
On March 4th we will have part 2 of the engagement on the School Development Plan. Please watch this short video to learn about the planning work schools do to improve and support student learning. School Council Meetings
Another ongoing means for families to stay informed and provide feedback is through the monthly School Council meetings. The next School Council Meeting will take place after the School Planning Engagement meeting on February 4th, and will begin at 7:00pm. This meeting can be attended both in-person and online. The online link can be found below.
At each School Council Meeting, the Principal's Report is intended to keep parents informed and updated on topics such as school operations, student achievement, staffing, curriculum, initiatives and events. In addition, a different teaching team each meeting presents an overview of the learning and special highlights occuring in the grade. So far, we have heard from our Grade 1 and Grade 5 teams. At the February 4th meeting, our Kindergarten and DHH teams will be presenting. The remaining grade teams will be presenting as follows:
April 1 - Grade 3
May 6 - Grade 2
June 3 - Grade 6
