Hello Jennie Elliott Families,

Only in Calgary can we start the week with indoor recesses and end the week barely having to wear coats outside!

Our grade 2 learning celebration assembly was another big hit for both the audience and the performers! I am continuously amazed by the confidence that our students show when they perform in front of hundreds of people in the gym. It is a testament to how equally necessary the Arts are to the academic success of our students as some of our more traditional ideas of learning.

Welcome Jennie & Elliott!

We have two new very important students that have joined us at Jennie Elliott, along with some of their friends! Thanks to the student voice generated during Triple J conversations, the support of parent volunteers, and funding from School Council, we have welcomed a “school” of fish that have been generating a tremendous amount of anticipation and excitement until their arrival this week. Jennie and Elliott are adjusting to their fancy new digs and look forward to meeting all of our students...from a reasonable distance...along with our families during Student-Led Conferences. Don’t forget to stop by and say hello to them!

Please refer to your teacher’s Weekly Message for further information and access the School Conference booking system through your MyCBE portal.

REPEAT | School Planning Survey

A reminder that the School Planning Survey will close on March 17th.  So far, we only have 23 very valuable, completed responses. This is an opportunity to share with us your wonders and feedback to help inform our school planning for the 2024-25 school year. The more survey responses we receive, the more we can better understand the variety of perspectives our families bring to our school community, so please consider taking a few moments to complete the survey if you have not already.  The Jennie Elliott 2024 School Planning Presentation shared at the last School Council meeting will provide more information.  If you have further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
